BBedit HTML Extensions

BBEditLite is a shareware text editor with HTML Extensions that speeds HTML creation for Macintosh users.

The commercial version of BBEdit (3.1.1) includes a unique set of extensions that are a little more robust than the shareware version. Of course, it's not the only choice of editors...but it does stack up well against some other editors such as HTML SuperText, HTML Pro and HTML Editor.

BBedit HTML extension features of note:

  • supports any HTML version
  • somewhat customizable
  • shortcuts are easily accessed through pull down menu
  • imports files from other programs/platforms smoothly and cleanly
  • search and replace
